A IPhone from USA with chinese configuration..

Hey people..I want to share my story about my Iphone...
My mother gave it to me as a gift!
Very cool, right?
Well..not that much... she bought it at America and put games to me at China with games and those stuffs...
Now that I tried to restart my phone to an newer version... It's blocked!and says that I need the phone card from the phone company that my mother bought the phone to work again...
Maybe at US the phone was cheaper...but because of this kind of problems.. it's really really better buying stuffs here... -.-''
Lesson learned: Don't buy a technology from foreign countries!

Yeah that's always problematic. Also if it breaks up warranty will probably be an issue...

Hey, maybe i can help, if its an iphone 3g, 2g and i guess 3gs i think u can unlock it on almost any cell phone shop, and yes iphones have that problem, thats the price of exclusivity and fancyness, sure its an awesome designed phone, sure it has an awesome camera, its awesome at its fullest, but that detail, that minuscle detail in many makes it for me useless, androids may have many flaws but they make up for the fact u can buy an endless variety of phones with an amazing variety of hardware that fits ur needs, paying almost 500€ or more for an iphone just because they think they are exclusive and fashionable, they could make a cheaper phone, reliable as the top one and have almost everyone using it, im straying from my answer, hope it helped.
